We will need to repeat this step twice for each SVG. Think of it as cutting the Star out of the SVG design. The Intersect option will create a new object from the objects selected. Do the same for the second Star layer if needed. Click on one Star layer and at the top of the screen (in the middle) click on Move to Front. We want the Star layers to be the first and second layer.
